Both Parties Suck

America is in a political civil war between the two major parties. Having only two candidates promoted by the MSM has brought us to a political divide. The divide is by the narrowest of percentages, that leave all our freedoms in jeopardy.  If you were unlucky enough to be in the minority, who knows what privileges may be restricted. Then when your party wins, you cheer on the other side being punished. This back and forth has allowed our rights to be stripped away, while the masses cheer it on.

This back and forth is a distraction that allowed our government to bankrupt our country with $34 Trillion in debt! That is over $100,000 per citizen including children. This is unsustainable and leaves us extremely vulnerable as a country. The divide and conquer technique have us on the brink of a civil war, thinking it is the "other party's fault", when both parties are truly to blame. Only when both sides realize we are being scammed, can we start solving the problems in society.


My name is Dennis M Simpson, Jr and I am running for Florida House Representative for District 27 which covers west Volusia, north Lake and east Marion Counties. I am an unapologetic Libertarian. I am tired of seeing people vote for the "lesser of two evils". That is still a vote for evil!  You cannot continuously vote for evil, then be surprised when the world begins to turn for the worst. I have heard people say "I don't like Candidate A, but I hate Candidate B. I like the third party option, but they can't win so I'll hold my nose while I vote for A". This is not what our founders wanted for this nation! Vote with your heart, not with the masses and you will see things turn around.


I will admit I am extremely skeptical we will vote our way out of this, even if elections were fair and true. Forget who is even counting the votes for a moment. Is it fair that a political party with 50 state ballot access not be included in debates? Is it fair the MSM and fortune 500 companies pump BILLIONS of dollars into campaigns and lobbyist to help crooks get elected and stay in power. The illusion of choice is just that. All of our politicians took an oath to serve us. Does anyone believe this is the case, or do they pass bills without reading them because their sponsors tell them too? What happened to the small government Republicans? What happened to the anti-war Democrats? I see less and less distinction between the two parties, other than hot button social issues that keep us distracted and focused on each other.


There are simple ways to start pushing back and letting them know they are not pushing us into a second civil war, but a second revolutionary war! You have THE RIGHT to change, alter or even abolish government if it gets out of hand. It's that time! Change your voter registration from the major parties to NPA or third party. Let them know you will not blindly vote simply by party status. Dwindle the base numbers and show them we are done with this game.

There are more effective ways to get attention, which brings me to my campaigns true purpose. Taking the money out of the hands of the corrupt. The Federal Reserve is a group of bankers that are not elected officials, but central planners. The American dollar used to be backed by gold. Now it is simply monopoly money that is used as the world currency because of our military strength. Allowing this behavior has us on the brink of a nuclear World War, where the two parties have just brought back the draft! I do not want my money paying to bomb nation's most of us can't point out on a map. I don't want my money funding gain of function virus research labs? I could go on all day on what this government spends money on that I would not volunteer to fund. What do they spend your money on that you protest?


 If they can just print money out of thin air, why do we need to file our taxes? So let's stop filing our taxes! I am openly, and loudly saying the American people must unite now and boycott filing our federal taxes!! I will use my position in the house and the power of the 10th amendment to help protect Floridians from an overreaching and out of control federal government. I understand many of you may be scared of the consequences of not filing, or you get tax credits, etc. If you are unwilling to join the boycott I implore you to paper file for an extension and then mail in a hard copy. Make someone take the time to enter the data. Stop making it so convenient for them to steal from you.

    Libertarians believe that government should be as small and local as possible. They believe that as long as you are not hurting anyone or infringing on someone else's rights you should be able to live your freest, most authentic self. No minority group is as small as the individual, and no one has the right to aggress against another. You have the right to bear arms and defend yourself if aggressed upon. 

    Neither and yet both. I have ideals and areas I find more left or more right leaning. There are many complicated reasons to believe what you have come to believe. The beauty, and sometimes the frustration, of this ideology is that you can be as liberal or conservative as you want to be, as long as you don't feel it is governments job to force others to think like you. 

    I have heard people say, "Don't NY/ Cali my Florida". What I hear is someone agreeing to a system where if enough people migrate or join forces locally, they agree that the larger party gets to make important decisions on that person's behalf, whether it be tax amounts or local laws and ordinances. If enough Vegans move to your area and determine there will be no more selling meat of any kind, well I guess you were out voted. Is that the system you support? Your rights are not granted to you by any governing body or document, and therefore cannot be dissolved or reduced by such.

    Ben Franklin said a democracy is two wolves and rabbit deciding what is for dinner, a republic is a well-armed rabbit protesting the vote.


    For the past 50 years Libertarians have been saying all the hottest new talking points Republicans now find trendy. Abolishing nearly every three letter agency from the FBI and IRS to the Department of Education. 

    Your tax money is stolen from your paychecks before you get it, while you spend it and various other tricks which accumulate to nearly half of your income. This money is then spread to various entities which have no incentive to compete as they have a monopoly on that service. You pay top dollar for your children to receive an education and we are not in the top twenty in any measure internationally. Rather focusing on education and tangibles, they push a one size fits all factory style school approach.

    Education needs to be flexible for the family. Not only should environments fit children, but schedules fit the family. A mother working as a server at night should not be forced to send her child to school from 7am to 2pm. She should be able to use the tax money allocated for her child to send them to a school that works around her schedule to maximize family time when she is not working.

    A Christian family should be able to send their child to a school that teaches the values they want. An LGBT parent to a school championing diversity and inclusion. This is your money being taken without consent and spent without regard of your needs. 


    Democrats are also frustrated with many aspects of the current system. The Department of Justice is terrible. Many people shout the system is racist, while others laugh at that claim.   The DOJ is a war against the lower class that is designed to keep people at the lowest parts of society. 

    Someone may get arrested for a misdemeanor nonviolent victimless offense, such as possession of marijuana and be set back severely. Once arrested, even with resources, it takes several hours to be processed and get bailed out. Many people may not be able to afford the bail and will need to spend weeks in jail awaiting a court date to argue their side. If you could afford bail you are already out hundreds of dollars, may have missed a day or more from work, have court fines and things to pay throughout the process. You may have lost your job completely through time off used and more needed. A family worried about money week to week has just had a tremendous burden added to them, and it is usually the family members of the accused that pay the heaviest penalties. What happened to innocent until proven guilty?
